origins through history

the word psalms is derived from the Greek ψαλμοί (psalmoi), originally meaning "songs sung to a harp", from psallein "play on a stringed instrument".

in Hebrew, tehillim‎, תְהִלִּים, or "praises" is what one finds as a book of the Bible most notable for David's writings.

thank you for the inspiration David, your words echo our Father's love.
my praises, my songs sung to a heart's harp.
just a modern day psalmist.
